If one partner has qualifying behavioral-health benefits associated with ValueOptions, Trinity Behavioral Health can verify that insured partner’s benefits and may separately sponsor the other eligible partner through Trinity’s couples sponsorship model. The uninsured spouse is not automatically covered by the plan. Trinity sponsorship is separate from insurance dependent coverage.
ValueOptions later became Beacon Health Options and is now Carelon Behavioral Health. Older cards or plan documents may still use a legacy name, so Trinity must identify the actual payer and current benefit administrator before confirming coverage.
