Trinity Behavioral Health can verify your qualifying ValueOptions-related behavioral-health benefits for your own treatment while separately reviewing your uninsured or non-covered partner for Trinity’s couples sponsorship model. Your insurance benefits apply to you as the enrolled member. Trinity sponsorship is separate and does not make your partner covered by your plan.

Whose treatment does the plan cover?
Benefits apply only to people who are enrolled and eligible. If only one partner has coverage, Trinity verifies that person’s current benefits, network status, cost sharing, and authorization requirements.
How is my partner’s treatment handled?
If your partner is uninsured or not enrolled under the plan, Trinity may separately evaluate them for sponsorship. Sponsorship is a Trinity admissions arrangement and should not be described as the insurance plan paying for the uninsured partner.
Why does my plan use the ValueOptions name?
ValueOptions became Beacon Health Options and is now Carelon Behavioral Health. Older documents may still use a legacy name, so Trinity should confirm the underlying payer and current administrator.
