Trinity Behavioral Health

Does My Spouse Need Their Own Policy if Trinity Sponsors Them?

No. Your spouse does not need their own health insurance policy for Trinity Behavioral Health to consider them for its couples sponsorship model. If your qualifying plan uses the MultiPlan network, Trinity can verify your actual benefits through the underlying insurer or plan administrator. If your spouse is uninsured or not enrolled under your plan, Trinity may separately review that eligible person for sponsorship.

Is MultiPlan my spouse’s insurance?

No. MultiPlan is a provider network, not an insurance company. The underlying health plan determines who is enrolled, what services are covered, and what authorization or cost-sharing rules apply.

Is sponsorship the same as adding my spouse to the policy?

No. Trinity sponsorship does not create dependent coverage, add your spouse to your health plan, or transfer your insurance benefits to another person. If your spouse is already enrolled as a dependent, their own benefits can be verified separately.

Can we still enter couples rehab together?

Potentially. Eligible couples may be able to enter couples rehab together when clinically appropriate. Each person receives an individual assessment.

Can Trinity help us travel to California?

Yes. Trinity can help eligible couples coordinate flight arrangements, arrival planning, ground-transportation coordination, travel logistics, and discharge travel planning when applicable. Exact assistance should be confirmed before booking travel.

Depending on clinical need, treatment may include detox, residential rehab, PHP, or IOP.

MultiPlan is a network, not the insurer. Insurance eligibility and Trinity sponsorship are separate, and neither guarantees admission, payment, airfare, or transportation.
