Trinity can review active eligibility, the exact PPO product and network, covered addiction-treatment benefits, cost sharing, and any authorization requirements.
Step 2: Explain that only one partner is insured
Tell admissions whether the other partner is completely uninsured or simply not enrolled under the Horizon policy. If that person is an eligible dependent, their own benefits can be verified separately.
Step 3: Ask about Trinity sponsorship
If the second partner is uninsured or non-covered, Trinity may separately consider them for sponsorship. Sponsorship does not add them to the Horizon policy and does not mean Horizon pays for both people.
