If one partner has qualifying ValueOptions-related behavioral-health benefits and the other is uninsured, Trinity Behavioral Health can verify the insured partner’s benefits and separately review the other eligible partner for couples sponsorship. The uninsured partner is not automatically covered by the health plan. Trinity sponsorship is a separate admissions arrangement.

Does one partner’s plan cover both people?
No. Benefits apply only to enrolled eligible members. If the second partner is not enrolled, Trinity sponsorship does not create insurance coverage or transfer the insured partner’s benefits.
Why might my card say ValueOptions, Beacon, or Carelon?
ValueOptions became Beacon Health Options and is now Carelon Behavioral Health. Trinity should identify the current administrator and underlying payer before confirming eligibility or authorization requirements.
Can we still enter couples rehab together?
Potentially. Eligible couples may be able to enter couples rehab together when clinically appropriate. Each person receives an individual clinical assessment.
Can Trinity help us travel to California?
Yes. Trinity can help eligible couples coordinate flight arrangements, arrival planning, ground transportation coordination, travel logistics, and discharge travel planning when applicable. Exact assistance should be confirmed before booking travel.
Depending on clinical need, treatment may include detox, residential rehab, PHP, or IOP.
