What can a positive result tell you?
A positive result means fentanyl was detected. Because illicit drug mixtures are uneven, one tested portion may not represent the entire bag or pill supply.
What does a negative result mean?
A negative result does not prove a drug is safe. The strip may miss fentanyl if the sample is not prepared correctly, if fentanyl concentration is below the detection threshold, or if a dangerous non-fentanyl substance is present.
Can test strips tell how much fentanyl is present?
