Eligible couples may be able to travel from New Jersey to California for treatment when one partner has qualifying Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO coverage and the other partner needs sponsorship. Trinity Behavioral Health can verify the insured partner’s benefits, separately review the other eligible partner for sponsorship, and help coordinate travel and flight arrangements for treatment in California.

Does the uninsured partner need Horizon coverage to travel with me?
No. If the other partner is not enrolled under the Horizon plan, Trinity may separately review that person for sponsorship. Sponsorship does not make the partner a Horizon member or transfer benefits.

Yes. Trinity can help eligible couples coordinate flight arrangements, arrival planning, ground-transportation coordination, travel logistics, and discharge travel planning when applicable. Exact assistance should be discussed with admissions before booking. Free airfare, reimbursement, a specific airline, airport, or transportation arrangement is not guaranteed.
Depending on clinical need, treatment may include detox, residential rehab, PHP, or IOP.
