If one partner has qualifying Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO coverage, Trinity Behavioral Health can verify that insured partner’s addiction-treatment benefits and may separately sponsor the other eligible partner. The uninsured partner is not automatically covered by Horizon BCBS. Couples treatment also requires an individual clinical review for each person, and travel plans should be confirmed before coming to California.

What if only one of us has Horizon BCBS PPO?
Trinity can verify the enrolled partner’s exact PPO plan, network status, covered services, cost sharing, and authorization requirements. If the other partner is uninsured or not enrolled on the policy, Trinity may separately review them for sponsorship.
Can we still enter couples rehab together?
Potentially. Eligible couples may be able to enter couples rehab together when clinically appropriate. Each partner receives an individual assessment and treatment recommendation.
Does sponsorship make my partner a Horizon member?
